About Zero-Trust Academy

How the Academy works

Zero-Trust Academy is a free set of self-paced learning paths for people who deploy, operate and support Glasswall products. Each path is a sequence of short modules, and each module ends with a knowledge check that you pass to complete it. Sign in with your partner account and your progress is kept on that account; without signing in it stays in your own browser, and you can export it from the My progress page. When you have finished a path you can print a certificate of completion, and the Halo Administrator and Safeware Halo Apps Operator paths prepare you for the ZTA-200 Halo Certified Engineer exam.

Reading times are measured, not guessed. Each unit's time is its word count at 238 words per minute, the average silent reading rate for adult non-fiction readers (Brysbaert, 2019), with code blocks and tables counted at half that rate; a knowledge check adds one minute per question. Module and path times are the sums.

Who runs it

The Academy is written and operated by Safeware, based in Singapore. Safeware is a Glasswall partner. Glasswall product names are used to describe what each module covers.

How content is kept current

Every unit is written in our own words and lists the product documentation it is based on in its Sources section. Content lives in a version-controlled repository, every change is reviewed before it is published, and units are revised when the products they describe change.
